Zalt

Zalt was born in Stockholm on a grey day in January 1987. Two angling friends were testing their fiftieth lure prototype, after forty-nine failed attempts, from a jetty near the National Museum. They were looking for a new kind of lure for big pike. The prototype swam as intended, and the brand was launched.

The brand now describes its hard lure as Sweden's most popular pike lure, used for both casting and trolling. Zalt lures are still designed in Sweden, with floating, sinking and suspending models.
