Silva is a Swedish outdoor equipment company founded in 1933, the year the brothers Kjellström and Gunnar Tillander invented the first liquid-filled compass. Two years later, the brand launched its first head torch, the Zeiler.
Silva now develops head torches, compasses and running vests, used by everyone from elite athletes to hikers. For fishing, a Silva head torch is useful for night sessions, setting up rigs before dawn and returning from a swim in the dark.
