Rigiflex is a French manufacturer of rotomoulded polyethylene boats. The brand was founded over thirty years ago at Jeanneau, which was looking for economical hulls that were highly impact-resistant for sailing schools and rescue services. Since August 2014, it has belonged to Rototec Engineering, a specialist in rotomoulding, and all its boats have been made in Miniac-Morvan, near Saint-Malo.
Rotomoulding produces UV-treated, through-coloured hulls that do not need painting. The range is divided into safety boats, such as the New-Matic, leisure boats and fishing boats for freshwater or sea fishing. The Cap series, originally designed as a safety boat, has found favour with anglers thanks to its stability, and the Rigiflex Cap 400 and Rigiflex Cap 370 are among the most sought-after models. A Rigiflex boat is easy to transport, while the flat-bottomed Rigiflex dinghy in the Aquapêche range is designed specifically for river and lake fishing.
