The blank of these GIANT KILLING 5G rods uses MAJOR CRAFT's exclusive R360 technology: a multidirectional structure made from high-modulus Toray T1100G carbon fibres, oriented at 360°. The result: ultra-responsive, lightweight and highly durable rods. These rods represent MAJOR CRAFT's high-end range and are specially designed for casting minnows, stickbaits and metal jigs over long distances, while maintaining perfect control over the lure's action thanks to their extraordinary sensitivity, ensuring precise lure manipulation in all circumstances.

Developed for very large fish, this model is intended for heavy offshore casting: large amberjack over 20 kg, GTs, and yellowfin tuna over 40 kg.

It can propel lures weighing up to 160 g by harnessing the full power of the blank, with a genuine ability to load the rod during powerful casts.

Its tip retains the action required to effectively animate hard-pulling lures in the water, such as large poppers or flat-sided diving pencils. It allows you to maintain control, grip the water properly and impart a clean swimming action to the lure, even during vigorous retrieves.

The butt section provides a substantial power reserve for calmly fighting extremely powerful fish, maintaining pressure and absorbing violent runs.

This action provides better lure control with every twitch, jerk or rhythmic retrieve. It maintains precise lure manipulation even with smaller lures, without sacrificing the power needed to tackle fast and powerful pelagic fish.
